We aim to make dates usable on phones, desktop screens and printed pages. The site uses semantic headings, visible focus outlines, labelled inputs, a skip link and readable date tables.
Ways to use the site
Calendar content is included directly in the page and does not require JavaScript. The interactive leave planner and live countdown do require JavaScript. Use your browser’s zoom controls to enlarge text. Wide tables can scroll horizontally on small screens.
Colour and printing
Observed dates have text labels as well as colour. Public and school holiday pages include a print option when JavaScript is enabled; your browser’s Print command also works without it.
Known limits
This first version has not undergone an independent accessibility audit. Calendar imports depend on your chosen app. If something prevents access, see contact information.
