Information processed when you visit
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Requests necessarily expose technical information such as IP address, requested URL, browser details and request time to the hosting infrastructure for delivery, security and operational purposes. Cloudflare’s processing is described in its privacy policy. Infrastructure may process data outside New Zealand.
Planner information
The planner calculates locally in your browser. We do not send selected working days, leave budgets or date ranges to a planner server. This version has no account, newsletter, payment system or enquiry form, and does not save planner selections.
Analytics and cookies
Google Analytics 4 is available only if you accept analytics cookies. It measures page visits, traffic sources and interactions such as scrolling and downloads; data may include browser and device information, page addresses and approximate location. Google processes this information under its privacy policy. Our initial page-view configuration removes query strings and fragments from the page address and referrer. Advertising signals and ad personalisation are disabled in the site configuration. We do not sell personal information. See our cookies and advertising page for the current status.
Future Google advertising
Google AdSense is not currently enabled. If activated, Google and other third-party advertising vendors may use cookies to personalise ads using visits to this and other websites. Google’s advertising cookies can allow it and its partners to deliver ads using browsing activity. You can manage personalised advertising at Google My Ad Center and find some other vendor choices at YourAdChoices. Google explains its use of partner-site data in How Google uses information. This policy and applicable consent controls must be updated before such services are activated.
Contact information and rights
If you email us, your email address and message will be used to answer your request and investigate corrections. Avoid sending sensitive information. Enquiries are received through Gmail, which processes messages under Google’s privacy policy. You can request access to or correction of information held about you by emailing nzlongweekends@gmail.com.
Children and external links
The site provides calendar information for a general audience and does not ask children to submit personal data. Linked sites have their own privacy practices.
