Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics 4 helps us understand visits and improve the website. The Google tag is blocked until you choose Accept analytics. Rejecting analytics leaves the calendars and planner available. Advertising is not enabled.
What is stored
Your analytics choice is remembered in browser local storage for up to 180 days. When you accept, Google Analytics may use cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish visits and sessions. The site sets analytics cookie expiry to 180 days. The planner itself does not save your selected dates or working pattern.
Change your choice
Use Cookie settings in the footer to accept or reject analytics at any time. Rejecting after accepting disables collection, removes accessible Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page. It does not erase information already received by Google. Browser storage restrictions can prevent us remembering your choice.
Google’s privacy policy and partner-site data explanation describe its processing. You can also use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. For requests, email nzlongweekends@gmail.com. Hosting and security information is covered in our privacy policy.
Advertising plans
We may fund the site through advertising later. Ads will be distinguishable from content and calendar downloads. We do not ask visitors to click ads to support the site.
Before advertising is activated
The operator must configure the real publisher account, review the privacy disclosures and activate appropriate consent handling. For visitors in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, Google requires a certified consent management platform under its applicable policies. Advertising is disabled while that setup is incomplete.
Your choices
You can control cookies in your browser. If Google ads are introduced, personalised ad choices can be managed through Google My Ad Center. Other choices are described by YourAdChoices. The footer Cookie settings control manages optional Analytics; it does not authorise advertising.
